Pull up a stool, order a pint of the black stuff, and settle in. The Clover & Barrel has been Dublin's favourite local for over 35 years — good food, great craic, and live music every weekend.
The Clover & Barrel opened its doors in 1987 when Seamus O'Brien converted his grandfather's old warehouse on Fleet Street into the kind of pub he'd always wanted to drink in — dark wood, low lights, a proper pint, and no nonsense.
Over 35 years later, not much has changed. The same mahogany bar, the same stained glass windows, and the same commitment to doing things the right way. We serve food made from Irish produce, pour pints the way they're meant to be poured, and host the best traditional music sessions in the city.
From traditional Irish sessions to quiz nights and whiskey tastings — there's always something happening at The Clover & Barrel.
Book ahead for evenings and weekends — we fill up fast. For groups of 8 or more please call us directly.
